its okay, its just kind of annoying that people always get the words wrong :P
I hear both, plus it says ‘from harm’ on GU so it doesn’t surprise me so many people would think that it’s ‘from harm’
I think, in the song, Damon says ‘among’ but the kids say ‘from harm’….at least that’s what I hear
and if you listen to the iTunes session they very obviously say ‘from harm’
Not sure if it was the main movie or the bonus material, but in Bananaz Damon explained that to that teacher in Brooclyn of that kids choir there, because it would be irresponsible to let children from the ghetto sing that lyric. Besides, it totally doesn’t fit in the song which is about be tired of war and conflict. By singing “I need a gun, to keep myself among.” practically means that many people don’t want to maintain the gang wars, wars and stuff, but they feel like they should, because of the pressure of others.

What is art.
I had a discussion with somebody on music getting old and if technology is art and that kind of stuff. At one point someone said:
It depends on your definition of art.
And well.. I came up with quite an easy definition right away (something that I’m usually barely able to):
Art is anything that can be sensed by one or more senses and which is made to transfer emotions and ideas from the author to the observer.
If you follow this rule, it makes quite some sense. Here are a few examples.
Object: Yes/No
Music: Yes
Movies: Yes
Pictures: Yes
A processor: No
A car: Yes
A car-engine: No
A game: Yes
A guitar-string: No
A guitar: Yes
Doodoo: No
Doodoo trown at a wall: Yes
Do you think otherwise? If yes; why?
